Comprehensive installation service for new heating and cooling systems in homes, from initial assessment through final commissioning.
Focus on efficiency, indoor air quality, safety, and long-term reliability with clear communication at every step.

Pre-Installation Process

Initial Consultation and Site Assessment: Understand comfort goals, existing equipment, ductwork condition, insulation, and electrical capacity.
Estimate and Scope of Work: Provide detailed proposal with equipment options, energy efficiency ratings (SEER, HSPF, AFUE), ductwork assessment, and budget.
Permitting and Code Compliance: Handle necessary permits, electrical upgrades if required, and ensure compliance with local codes.
Old System Evaluation and Removal Planning: Inspect current outdoor condenser and indoor air handler/furnace, plan safe removal, refrigerant reclaim (per environmental regulations), and disposal.

Removal of Old System (Decommissioning)

Safety Shutdown: Power down, disconnect electrical supply, and secure gas lines if applicable.
Removal of Outdoor Unit: Disconnect lines, cap refrigerant lines, and extract the condenser with minimal site disruption.
Removal of Indoor Equipment: Disconnect and remove furnace/air handler, evaporator coil, and any obsolete ductwork or components as defined in scope.
Duct and Space Preparation: Seal or cap unused ductwork, clean the work area, and prepare for new installation.
Waste Management: Dispose of old equipment responsibly and recycle where possible.

New System Installation (Installation of New HVAC)

Equipment Delivery and Layout Confirmation: Verify model compatibility, location, clearances, and accessibility for service.
Rough-In and Electrical Upgrades: Install new or upgraded electrical supply, disconnects, and any required breaker or panel adjustments if applicable and previously discussed.
Ductwork and Air Distribution:
Design and install supply/return air ducts as needed.
Seal and insulation to minimize leakage and maximize efficiency.
Install or modify plenums, registers, and grilles for balanced airflow.
Indoor Unit Installation (Furnace/Air Handler/Heat Pump):
Mount, align, and secure the new indoor unit.
Connect gas line (if gas furnace) or electrical connections (thermostat, controls), and condensate drain.
Install or upgrade an appropriate filter system and air quality components if included.
Outdoor Unit Installation (Condensing Unit):
Properly place on a solid base, level, and secure.
Connect refrigerant lines with proper insulation and sizing.
Install and test electrical disconnects and wiring, grounding, and service valves.
System Charging and Refrigerant Management:
Pressure testing, leak checking, and refrigerant charge according to manufacturer specifications.
Controls and Thermostat:
Install compatible programmable or smart thermostat.
Calibrate and configure for optimal operation and energy savings.
Electrical and Safety Checks:
Verify all wiring, breakers, grounding, and safety switches.
System Start-Up and Tuning:
Perform air balancing, airflow testing, and performance verification for heating and cooling.
Confirm humidity control, dehumidification, and filtration features.
Quality Assurance and Cleanliness:
Inspect workmanship, test for leaks, and ensure clean, professional finish.
Use protective coverings and leave the space clean.

Post-Installation Verification

Performance Verification: Confirm system meets design specifications (capacity, efficiency, and temperature rise).
Documentation: Provide operation manuals, warranty information, and a detailed as-built diagram.
Customer Walkthrough: Demonstrate thermostat operation, filter maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Budget and Scheduling of Follow-Ups: Explain maintenance recommendations and schedule optional follow-up inspection.
